Some people are looking at my stuff, wierd.
You know, like, this thingy, like, is kinda like cool.
It's way hot here I want to escape. Moon, here I come.

No Title and its tearing me apartNo Title by ~invisiblestring
and i didn't wish what i wished
honest to goodness true
and when did i ever lie to you
and its pulling me down past the surface
and i can't take it for only so long
because since when were these things real
and i can't help it if thats how you feel
and i can't change things
and things won't change
but sometimes there's this time
and i can't change a thing

In Praise -virtually- In Praise (virtually)In Praise -virtually- by ~invisiblestring

In praise of you
I have grown Poetic. (insane?)
Ensconsed in the sanitized familiararity
of a shiny (shaky) digital world
I have composed virtual odes,
sonnets, free verse, even haiku.
Grown bold with time
I have released them (white birds like paper)
into a computerised underworld
peopled with online scams and shams
and occasional inspirational gems.
(they fly) In the hope
that if YOU will internally deny
these labours of praise (inspired, you see.)
perhaps someone else will believe
these truisms, this praise,
believe in you and me
as strongly as I do.

Wrinkle Time has taken its toll, I seeWrinkle by ~invisiblestring
and you, as you now appear
standing before me
have not given easily.
In every line of your face
I see the struggle with the years,
Not the passing, but the taking.
These years did not float by, empty, or
rush you along, haphazard.
In your softly powdered cheek,
I see gouged the struggle
of each and every one.
In your milkily gazing eye
I reflect upon
The wrenching of time
The marks, its sorrows and droughts,
and too, its moments of joy.
What a change these have wrought
upon you, once smooth.
I'm happy you liked the photo
I hope to read more of your poetry soon, I'll put you on my watchlist!
